BETH KEYTEL

TRE® (Tension and trauma releasing exercises) – Certified TRE® Provider, QEC Certified Practitioner, Wellness Coach

I have been honoured to spend the last few years doing what I love best: providing the tools and space for people to empower and heal themselves naturally. TRE® is a powerful and yet very simple way to access the body’s ability to shake off tension and stress. It is a physical practice, in which we trigger the natural neurogenic tremoring process through simple stretches and muscle stress exercises, then by lying on a mat and allowing the body to release tension and trauma, in a sustained, yet controlled and gentle way. Many clients describe it as feeling like a massage from the inside out. Every exercise can be modified to suit individual clients, and as we focus on the safety of the client.

HANNA NAUDÉ

Fine Art

I trained as a graphic designer and worked as an in-house designer and draftsman at the department of zoology (University of Stellenbosch), after which I started teaching private art classes for children and adults and discovered my true love: teaching. Although I still paint and exhibit myself, the ART BAZAAR art school is my main focus. It is a wonderland full of children of all ages who come daily to paint, draw, build and grow. Art is a creative activity that expresses our imaginative and technical skills. Through my art classes, I teach the children those skills through the use of different mediums, drawing and design work, painting and crafting. We work alone and in teams, learn to focus, self-reflect and look closely, build confidence – all whilst playing in the rainbow.

CATE DOMS

Multilevel Vinyasa Yoga

I am a qualified Play Therapist who discovered a love and passion for yoga. With a background in psychology I was particularly drawn to the healing aspect which yoga provides in a wholistic “mind/body” manner. I truly believe that the physical workout, combined with the breath work and focus that yoga provides is possibly the best combination to keep your mind and body in shape. I am also drawn to the playful and physical aspect of the yoga poses and how they cater for many different needs and abilities. There is something for everyone! Anyone is welcome to come and experience the healing power of yoga. After completing my YTT 200 at the Hot Yoga Studio in Stellenbosch I decided to open my own yoga studio. I now run Blossom Yoga Studio on Saratoga Farm, where I live.

CHERISE VOSLOO

Victory Music

Guitar | Electric Guitar | Ukelele | Drums

I believe that music tames the storms inside us. Mastering an instrument is great for self-esteem, overall well-being and making us receptive to learning new information quicker. Teaching people this skill brings me great joy. I picked up a guitar at the age of 14 and never looked book. As a teenager, music really helped me and so through the years I have taught myself to play the electric guitar, bass guitar, drums and ukulele. In 2016 I enrolled in a creative arts academy where I received formal training. I am currently studying towards a degree in applied psychology and counselling.

WAYNE MINNIES

Chess, Robotics and Coding

Minnies Chess Academy was created in 2015 after my return to South Africa from a hospitality and teaching background. Research has proven many benefits to Chess exposure for example:  it challenges memory, improves calculation, develops visual-spatial skills, and promotes critical thinking abilities. This is why Minnies Chess Academy has had many players selected for Provincial and National Colours in Chess, as well as achieve outstanding Maths and Science results at school. It’s impossible not to become passionate about this game/sport/art.

I also offer basic coding and robotics lessons, suitable for primary school aged children.

WESSEL TALJAARD

Karate

Hi there. I have been living in Bonnievale for 25 years. I was raised and schooled there since I was 3 years old. Growing up in a small town like Bonnievale helped me to appreciate the community and nature that surrounds me. I love the outdoors and being an active individual. I find excitement in the small things of life.
